Key Features
- Arca-Type Compatible
- Double-Dovetail Design
- Black Anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum
- Replaces Lens' Original Foot
The LP-64 Replacement Lens Foot for Select Nikon Lenses from Kirk slides directly into the lens collar mount and locks into place by tightening the locking knob. The lens foot is compatible with most Arca-type clamps and heads, and the double-dovetail design allows other Arca-type accessories to attach to the bottom or the top of the foot. The foot also allows the lens hood to mount in the reverse without bumping into it, for storage. The 6061-T6 aluminum foot has a black anodized finish, which makes it resistant against scratches and corrosion. In addition, safety stops located on the bottom of the foot prevent the lens from accidentally being pulled out when the clamp is partially open.

Can you screw a Blackrapid Sport strap into the bottom, to carry the camera/ lens + foot combo at the hip?
You could, there is a 1/4" threaded socket but you'd be better using a magpul clip with the QD socket.

Does this foot fit nicely in RRS ballheads with quick release? I ask because I own another Kirk replacement foot which requires a lot of force to close the quick release clamp.
Hello Rob,
Manzell gave me a different answer. He said if you have a screw type clamp, it will work. That's obvious because the clamp width is adjustable. He also said that it won't work with a lever type RRS clamp. That's exactly what I feared because I have found the Kirk feet to be ever so slightly wider than RRS feet while the RRS lever clamp is not adjustable and cannot accept the wider Kirk foot without a lot of force on the lever.
