I still don't know what happened it was in the studio and turned on but not being fired, heard a noise and noticed it put out some smoke . It seems to have fried the AC as well as the pack. Mentioned to Godox and while they didnt offer any investigating into the issue just turned me on to some repair places, first one said not repairable after 2 months. Now one says they can replace all the boards. I am not sure If I can trust the AC adapter anymore.

I like to use the modeling light but noticed it eats up battery life fairly fast. I'm mostly studio so this was the perfect option for me. So far it's been perfect. Now I can leave that modeling light on and not care about a battery. If you do studio and use a AD1200 Pro this is a nice addition to the studio.

Does the AC constantly charge the battery? The root of my question is if repeated flashes (like 15 or 20) even at 2 second intervals will eventually cause a bad flash. I do spin photography and have found that with moonlights, after 4 or 5 flashes the refresh time is much greater.
No. The following item is to be used for AC operation when shooting in a controlled environment.
There would be no reason to use a rechargeable battery.

What is the amperage draw on this unit? Wondering if I could use 2 of these on the same 15 amp circuit.
The Godox AC Adapter for AD1200Pro Battery Powered Flash System normally is 11 A. But can go up higher in use. It would be best to use two of them, to use it on two separate 15 amp circuits.
