Route audio from your smartphone, tablet, or other digital media player to loudspeakers, mixers, and house PAs with the Radial Engineering USB-Mobile. Essentially, this digital interface acts as a simple DI, one that can take the digital signal of a digital media device and route its audio to the analog world in stereo or mono signal paths.
The device has a USB Type-A input for digital devices, and two balanced XLR outputs for mixer or speaker channels. You can also plug a pair of headphones into the 3.5mm jack. Use the Mono button if you want to fold the audio to mono, and engage the Ground/Lift switch if you need it. With a prominent level knob, you can adjust the output gain to better feed mic- or line-level devices.
The USB-Mobile is compatible with iOS devices. It has the added benefit of being able to charge your devices when they are plugged in.
