More DetailsThe light features an integrated, articulating mounting bracket that includes multiple 1/4"-20 threads for mounting in a variety of positions. There's also a built-in mic to utilize the Music mode, which allows the light to change based on the beat of the music. The integrated 2410mAh battery charges using the included USB Type-C cable, and it lasts about 2.5 hours when at 100% power. The LCD screen on the rear is controlled by two control dials and one button on the side. Also included with the light is a carry pouch, a 1/4"-20 to shoe adapter, and an Allen wrench.

How does this compare to the Boling P1? Looks to be a clone of it, down to the swivel mount.
The swivel mount and rest of the light is similar but not a 1:1 clone. For half the price (I purchased at $79), I think it’s great deal. Every mode is very bright and vibrant. I don’t ha e the P1, so I can’t compare directly, though.

Will this light stay on forever if you have it ...
Will this light stay on forever if you have it plugged into an AC adapter through the USB-C charging port? Can you effectively power it through the USB-C charging port?
I have this light and I can turn it on and have it charging at the same time. What I am not sure about is at what percentage power output exceeds power input. I doubt it can be powered forever, but you can increase its runtime considerably.

It's based on LED technology so it does not get very hot. There is a very negligible warmth that will build after prolonged usage, but it never really gets hot.
