The Dedolight Battery 1-Light Kit features a DLH4 light head that operates from an 8 amp battery belt, so you can use it anywhere AC power is not available. This is a universal quartz halogen light head with new double aspheric lenses and zoom focus.
The optical system of the Dedolight surpasses the traditional concept of studio lights with Fresnel lenses. The Dedolight optical system employs two lenses. The second lens pre-collects the light, directing it to the front lens and minimizing light loss. This produces unprecedented focusing range and light efficiency, especially in the spot position.
The cells used in the battery belt are high quality NiCad cells. The adjustable belt is durable, flexible and fitted with a quick-release lock. The built-in charger fully charges the belt from empty within 12 to 14 hours at either 117V or 230V. Charge cable is included with each belt. An optional electronic discharge guard is available.
