Secure your Sony PWX-FS7 camera to an all-in-one shoulder rig that adapts to the accessories in your preexisting setup with this Hunt Camera Cage Kit from Camtree. The bundle includes a partial camera cage, baseplate, swing-away matte box, and 15mm LWS support with two pairs of rods. A follow focus allows you to accurately focus your camera onto your subject in the field and incorporates a speed crank into its design. A V-mount battery plate helps power your camera and onboard accessories from a single V-mount battery, and it is compatible with D-tap and standard DC connections.
Provided packed in a compact hard case, the Swing-Away Wide-Angle Carbon Fiber Matte Box from Camtree has a 15mm LWS rod mount design and a rear opening supporting up to 105mm diameter lenses. It will work with lenses such as the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 and Canon EF-S 18-200 but supports up to a 28mm focal length, and it provides a 16:9 format for wide-angle shots. The swing-away bracket is height adjustable up to 0.8" for compatibility with various lenses.
The matte box has one fixed and one 180° rotating filter tray and accepts optional 4x4 filters. The trays can be inserted or removed without having to break your setup down. The matte box hood is made of carbon fiber for a lightweight design, and the top and side flags of aluminum. When you're not shooting, the top flag can be closed to cover and protect your lens.
Camtree's Hunt Camera Cage System for Sony PXW-FS7 features a shoulder mount baseplate and a partial cage that covers the front and top of the camera while providing mounting threads. It also includes a pair of 11.8" and pair of 5.9" 15mm rods to be attached to the front and rear LWS rod supports of the baseplate. A rod mount lens support is also supplied that's padded on top and has a riser for adjustment to different lens sizes.
The baseplate offers an ARRI-standard rosette mount on each side for attaching handgrips, allowing you to upgrade this cage system to a more comprehensive camera support for your FS7. It also provides a V-lock quick release adapter on the bottom with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threads. The cage leaves open access to all ports, slots, and controls of the camera.
