I definitely like the look of the images for my event photography when using this how ever even though its magnetic it is very easy to loose when you are roaming through and event and your camera is on your hip. One small bump of a chair or someone brushing past you and this will fly off of the flash. I've had to use gaffer tape to secure it to the edge of the ring and flash as well as the black attachment that is on the ring so I don't loose it. If your camera is mounted to a monopod it is not an issue but most event photographers either work with 2 cameras hanging from shoulder or on hip.
