pb23 phantom power supply is a great unit, I installed it in a church to power a shure mx202 it work just fine.

Could I use this to power my MKH 416 so that I can record audio straight to my A7III?

Yes you can, however please note this requires an AC power adapter to be plugged into the wall to run the pre-amp. Here's a battery powered solution for portability: BH #PS48PMPS.
