This bundle packages the FLYCAM HD-3000 Video Camera Stabilizer with one of FLYCAM's most advanced body vests, the Galaxy Arm & Vest. The HD-3000 supports up to 8 lb loads and allows for stabilized pan, tilt, and roll motion as you move around in different directions.
The Galaxy vest features thin aluminum plates and breathable synthetic fabric, and it offers waist, chest, and height adjustment between the waist and shoulders. Waist size is adjustable between 28 and 60", and the chest size from 38 to 52". The vest includes a shock-absorbing arm that has multiple joints of articulation and a dual-spring design with adjustable spring elasticity. The HD-3000 stabilizer slides directly onto the mounting post of the shock-absorbing arm.
Included with the HD-3000 is a Unico quick release sliding camera platform with a drop-in quick release plate. You can balance your camera with the supplied 16 counterweight plates plus via the sliding camera platform for a more efficient workflow. The included table clamp provides a mounting point for balancing the stabilizer as well as setting it down when not in use.

The HD-3000 has a dynamic camera balance platform that allows balancing the camera on its X and Y axes, and it features a toolless 15.7 to 23.6" telescoping center post for balancing camera rigs up to 8 lb. The included quick release plate installs on the top plate and has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws to mount a variety of cameras.
It comes with sixteen counterweights that stack onto the adjustable base to ensure a perfect balance. A table clamp provides a mounting point for the gimbal for balancing and for storing the balanced, assembled gimbal when not in use.
The FLYCAM Galaxy Arm and Vest Stabilizer features a lightweight, foam-padded vest offering a universal fit. The waist size is adjustable between 28 and 60", and the chest size from 38 to 52". This is done with hook-and-loop fastener straps, and the vest is secured with push-fit buckles. Height is also adjustable between the waist and shoulders at the pull of a height-adjustment pin provided on the chest plate. The vest is made of thin aluminum plates and breathable synthetic fabric. All these features ensure a relatively lightweight and comfortable fit.
The vest and arm combined support up to 22 lb and allow you to highly stabilize your shots for extended periods with nearly eliminated stress on the arms and shoulders. The Galaxy Stabilizer enables you to follow your subject in just about any scenario. You can walk, run, or climb stairs, and much more, achieving consistently smooth cinematic shots while your hips/legs/body absorb the weight of the load, leaving your hands free to focus on the camera angle.
The shock-absorbing arm has multiple joints of articulation and features a dual-spring design. The joints and springs are what stabilize the load by isolating shake and vibration. Furthermore, the elasticity of the springs is adjustable via a knob for different shooting conditions. The arm securely attaches to the vest on one end and extends out a maximum length of 18". The mounting platform for your load is a 16mm diameter post that supports direct attachment of mechanical gimbals such as the FLYCAM Redking and Glidecam 4000. Additionally, 19 and 22mm bushings are included for compatibility with other gimbals and supports. However, you can also mount motorized gimbals and various other camera supports by incorporating adapters like the GyroVu Universal Stabilizer Arm Post Adapter.
Two sets of tension springs are supplied with the arm for different weight capacities, and they're color-coded on the ends to make them distinguishable from one another. The blue springs are for loads weighing 4.4 to 11 lb, and the red springs are for 11 to 22 lb loads.
