The Sony SRGL-4K 4K License activates 4K HDMI and IP streaming output in the Sony SRG-X400 and SRG-X120 PTZ cameras, allowing for a UHD 3840 x 2160, 29.97p resolution workflow. Your purchase provides you with a physical piece of paper with a product code and a manual with instructions on how to obtain an install key. The unique device ID of the camera will be required to register the install key and activate the 4K license.

Does the license upgrade address the 3g-SDI output limitation? 4k requires 6g-SDI or better I believe
It does not as this activates 4K HDMI and IP streaming outputs. It is not for SDI.

Unfortunately, at this time, only a 29.97 frame rate is supported in 4k with this license upgrade.
