The original seat lasted just shy of 2 years. It was used about 200 times, for an hour each time before the left front edge ripped out. (It's used twice each Sunday at our church). Upon closer inspection, the slot that the dowel slides into is VERY sharp. I plan to sand it a bit so that hopefully this replacement fabric lasts longer! I'm just glad that there is such a replacement fabric available!
