Designed for use behind an EOTech Holographic Weapon Sight, the black Micro 3x Magnifier with QD Flip Mount is a compact and versatile optic. When you need a better look at a more distant target, simply flip the magnifier into position. When the action is closer, flip it out of the way—or remove it from your rifle altogether using the quick-detach mount. The angle of view is a generous 7.5°, and the optic is sealed to resist internal fogging.

EOTech G43.STS Reviews
Awesome magnifier
This is a perfect, relatively light weight magnifier for an SBR setup. Clear glass and solid construction.
Excellent Optic. Excellent Clarity
The glass is good. Better than the G33. On par with some mid to high tier LVPOs and nearly as good as an ACOG, with less saturation. Of course this optic has a much smaller FOV than any of those categories at the 3-4x magnification range. I believe as far as clarity is concerned, this is best paired with any of the Eotech holosights. Otherwise it does add about the same weight as the G33. It is however shorter than a G33, and has better eye-relief. The benefit of this is that when folded to the side, you have access to your charging handle and forward assist, and its just more comfortable in your field of view because its not as close to your face. I have an eotech with no BDC and can hit targets out to 600 by dividing the 68moa circle. the one MOA center circle is excellent as it allows consistent hits to small targets out to 400 yards for me. These would be 6 inch circle plates. first round hit probability drops off past this distance without BDC, But for 600 yard holdover, you can slice the outer ring of your eotech to the lower third, and use the center bottom of the ring as reference. All your shots will stay inside the ring anyways. Impact points are visible with this optic allowing you to adjust accordingly. The smaller lighter holosun 503 with the ACSS reticle can really benefit from a smaller but clear magnifier like this, and the BDC in that can be a huge benefit for increased hit probability beyond 400 yards. Otherwise you can look into the 5x eotech magnifier. But hits to 600 are doable with this thing, and it is easy to transition from target to target at various ranges. Adding a BDC will speed you up even more. Very impressed, As 3x can be limited magnification for longer ranges and so the clarity will matter. Eyebox is pretty tight, Eye relief is better than G33, and field of view will be lacking when compared to some LVPOs and the ACOG at the lower magnification range. It also adds some heft to your rifle. Still its a simple and easy to use setup that greatly increases your ability to see, and shoot a target at ranges that would otherwise be difficult with just a holo or red dot sight. I don't think this setup will lag to much behind an LVPO inside 400 yards, but you would be shooting more reflectively with this so the purpose is a little different. Unless your using a BDC reticle as mentioned above, which can bridge the gap if you are looking for an alternative to scopes. This would also be good to take magnified shots up close too ( inside 100 yards) . As things up close remain clear, unlike most scopes. As a Magnifier, this is the best one I've ever had. I'm using it on a 16in AR. This thing has a much smaller front objective lenses than any other optic I have yet seen so it has an entirely different prism system from the G33.
