This TA-2-PF Series 2 Tripod Platform from Really Right Stuff is designed for use with Versa Series 2 Tripods. It enables the attachment of tripod heads that are compatible with a 3/8"-16 mount to a Versa Series 2 Tripod without a center column.

My platform was stuck on the center column and RRS would not send me a replacement. It fits perfect on Versa 2 Tripod.
I had an RRS monopod with a Series 2 Leveling base instead of the original plate. This works great as a replacement plate which frees up my leveling base for other uses.
