I have had a podcast for about 2 years. This is by far the best boom arm I have had. I will be ordering a few more of them.

This arm is fantastic if you work at home on a computer. Other arms come from the top down. With this arm I can completely see my screen. It may seem pricey but it is worth it. The arm has a spring in it which you can adjust based on the weight of the microphone so that the arm floats to just the height that you need. I would strongly suggest one of these arms also because you can move them around easily which is nice for a conference call when you want to lean back a bit.

How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic mount? I can't get it to move at all.
Asked by: David
Try loosening the triangular knob and that should allow the joint to move so you can position the mic mount as needed. Once you have it positioned as desired, then tighten the knob to keep it in place. If you are still having problems, you may want to try contacting the manufacturer directly. You can reach O.C. White by phone at 413-289-1751. Their offices are based in Massachusetts.

The O.C. White ProBoom Ultima Gen2 Ultralow-Profile Adjustable Mic Boom Arm is not guaranteed to work with other brands of table clamp. To ensure the best results, the O.C. White clamp mount should be used.

How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic ...

How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic mount? I can't get it to move at all. I don't mean the knob near the mic connector, but rather the piece with the round black circle on the outside at the other end of that segment
Asked by: David
That joint is not adjustable. The angle of the mic would be adjusted with the locking screw.
