I bought this stand but can't attach my Neewer 70 ...
I bought this stand but can't attach my Neewer 70 inch jib without a mount. Which mount will fit this stand?
The Proaim P-JS Heavy-Duty Jib Stand does not provide threading above the 33mm diameter pole, nor does Proaim manufacture an adapter since the stand is designed for Proaim jibs with a center post mount. A suggestion in adapting the Proaim P-JS Heavy-Duty Jib Stand to either the 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threading present under the Neewer 70 inches Carbon Fiber Jib Arm Camera Crane is using the Glide Gear Speaker Stand to 1/4"-20 Adapter with ProTapes Pro Gaffer Tape (2" x 12 yd, Black).
The inner diameter of the Glide Gear Speaker Stand to 1/4"-20 Adapter is 35.75mm. It is possible to decrease the gap between the stand and adapter by wrapping tape around the pole so there is a more flush fit. See the links below:
