The eMotion LV1 Extreme-C Live Mixing System from Waves is a system for achieving world-class live sound. It includes an eMotion LV1 32-channel stereo live software mixer, an Axis One standardized computer, a SoundGrid Impact Server-C unit for plug-in processing, a SoundStudio STG-2412 stagebox (24 inputs/12 outputs), a Netgear GS108 V4 8-port switch, and a set of Cat 6 Ethernet cables. In addition, it includes the following plug-ins: eMo D5 dynamics, eMo F2 Filter, eMo Generator, and eMo Q4 Equalizer. This comprehensive combo includes everything you need to build a SoundGrid-powered live mixing system.

The Waves eMotion LV1 is a digital software mixer with 32 stereo/mono input channels designed for front-of-house, foldback, and broadcast live sound mixing applications. It employs the SoundGrid infrastructure for audio networking and a 32-bit floating point mix engine to deliver pristine audio at sample rates up to 96 kHz and with latency as low as 0.8 ms, along with an intuitive, flexible, and fast workflow, ideal for demanding live environments.

The eMotion LV1 software gives you precise control over your live sound mixing with eight Aux channels (stereo/mono), L/R panning, and up to eight SoundGrid-compatible plug-ins directly on each channel (Waves or third-party plug-ins). All saved plug-in presets and chains can be shared with the Waves MultiRack and StudioRack plug-in hosts, enabling you to move seamlessly between live and studio environments.

The main mixer window gives you the most important info you need at a glance including all channel inputs and parameters, routing, plug-in inserts, and more. Additional windows provide more detailed views. You can use the channel window for focused control of your plug-ins, including a Touch-and-Slide slider for quick and easy control of all plug-in parameters.

The software can be configured as a portable or stationary setup, and can connect to any SoundGrid-compatible I/O or server, allowing you to work on your sessions online or offline, at home, in your hotel room, on the tour bus, or at the live venue.

eMotion LV1 provides support for up to four multi-touch screens as well as diverse industry-standard control surfaces. The software runs on the Axis One, a standardized computer, custom-designed and optimized to run Waves audio applications. Packed in a road-worthy half-rack 2 RU case, with its SoundGrid connectivity, Axis One acts as the brain of a SoundGrid system, seamlessly interfacing with SoundGrid I/O devices and servers. Use it at front-of-house, at monitor position, or in your broadcast AV rack—or add it to your studio for tracking, mixing, and mastering.

The SoundGrid Impact Server-C DSP Unit is a compact unit that relieves the computer from plug-in processing. It's enclosed in a rugged all-metal 2 RU casing, which is only half the width of a standard 19-inch rack. You can rackmount a single server using rack ears or mount two servers side-by-side. The unit is small enough, so you can easily take it with you and supercharge your mixing power anywhere you go.

The SoundStudio STG-2412 stagebox features 24 XLR-1/4" combo mic/line inputs with premium mic preamps, 12 XLR line outputs, and a headphone output with level control. Housed in a road-worthy 4 RU chassis, the SoundStudio STG-2412 connects to the SoundGrid network via a single Ethernet cable.

The Netgear GS108 is a SoundGrid-tested and approved Gigabit Ethernet switch for connecting all the computers, SoundGrid I/Os and SoundGrid servers in your SoundGrid audio network. A rack shelf for the computer and server is also included.
