Quasar Science QBKT8 Overview

The Quasar Science Q-Block T8 Mounting Clip enables you to hang Quasar tube lights on the wall for vibrant, unobtrusive lighting. These Quasar Science T8 Mounting Clips are easy to screw into wood, metal, or drywall. Once you have your mounting clip in place, you'll be able to mount or take down your Quasar tubes easily. These mounts are particularly handy for traveling or location work, as you can mount your lights in creative and versatile ways.

The Q-Block T8 allows you to build custom lighting rigs and is frequently used in framed arrays to create large light sources with Quasar tubes.

Great Bracket - just check size before ordering

These work wonderfully with the Quasar Science LED tubes. They snap on the tubes easily, hold it securely, and still let you turn the tube to point the light in the correct direction. You fasten them with 10-32 machine screws and nuts, which you provide. The bracket has a recess to hold the nut in place, while you tighten the screw. They have little nubs on them, so you can easily align them if you are mounting more than one tube right next to another. Make sure you check the size before ordering though...they make them to fit different tubes (T8 for 1 tubes and T12 for 1.5 tubes). I didn't look closely on my first set and ordered the wrong size. These (the T8) DO fit the Quasar Science Q30 T8 Dimmable 5600K Linear LED Lamp (4') beautifully. ALSO: Make sure you order 2 for each tube you want to mount. This is only ONE (1) bracket.

Works as advertised to mount T8 bulb including the quasar science, obv. not too pricey.

No, there is no easy way to attach it to a Light stand unless you improvise { MacGyver } it.

The Quasar Science Q-Block T8 Mounting Clip does not ship with any hardware. The clip has holes (not threaded) that you can use a regular wood screw or screw and drywall anchor with, depending on what you are mounting to.
