The Lens Foot for Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS and FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lenses from Really Right Stuff is a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate with an Arca-type compatible dovetail mount. The low profile of this replacement foot provides a lower center of gravity for better balance when compared to the original foot of the telephoto lens. The plate has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting sockets in case there is no mounting clamp present, and an integrated QD socket is compatible with QD adapters, straps, and slings. Optional safety stop screws are available with the foot to prevent the foot from sliding out if a quick release clamp is accidentally opened.
