The Soft LED 8XL Vari White 400W from DeSisti is a 28 x 22 x 5.2" panel with a soft light quality and access to optional light shapers such as barndoors and honeycomb grids. The panel has a wide color range from 2800 to 6600K or anywhere in between to fit seamlessly into any ambient light situation, match other fixtures, or to express personal vision. The light's high CRI/TLCI ratings of 95/96 are your assurance of superior performance and accuracy in color reproduction. The light is dimmable too, from 0 to 100% without flicker, and while you can make adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also make them remotely on a console via onboard DMX.
The 8XL Vari White is seen but not heard thanks a thermal sensor and CPU with a variable speed fan and a heat sink to maintain the LEDs at optimal constant temperature - a real asset in sound-sensitive environments while recording. Adaptable to multiple light uses in a studio, it has power pass through and can be daisy chained with up to 32 panels. The light is ready for worldwide use via its 90-250 VAC power supply.
