Additionally, the software features a warning and logging system that keeps track of levels, and provides an alert when target settings are exceeded or have fallen short.
The NS1 Noise Suppressor from Waves is a noise suppression plug-in with a single-fader operation. It can differentiate between dialog and unwanted noise and is designed for post-production, audio forensics, and musical applications.
The software instantly analyzes and adapts to the input signal in real-time, bringing the foreground into focus as it eliminates unnecessary background noise. It also features an attenuation meter which shows how much overall energy is being removed from the input signal.

Available for download, Playlist Rider from Waves is a plug-in designed for easily controlling the volume levels of individual tracks in your podcast mix. You can also use the software in real time, making it useful for live streaming, as well as podcasting. Whereas compressors and limiters can color the sound by audibly restricting the dynamic range, Waves Playlist Rider preserves the original dynamic relationships within your source material, including speakers within a program, bumpers, music, clips, intros, and outros.
The GUI is relatively easy to use. Set your target to one of three commonly accepted broadcast levels in the center of the plug-in. Set the threshold in such a way that intentionally low-signal elements are left alone, so you don't unintentionally bring up volume fades or low-level noise in recordings. Finally, a Tonal Character Shaper can be utilized, which compares your source material with a pink-noise generated curve to smooth out obvious, unbalanced differences between the audio heard in different tracks.
Playlist Rider works in Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in VST, AU, Audio Suite, and AAX formats.
Greg Wells VocalCentric from Waves is a plug-in that provides a quick and simple way to achieve mix-ready vocal sounds. Developed with collaboration from producer, songwriter, and mixer Greg Wells (Adele, Katy Perry, OneRepublic), the plug-in delivers "A-level" vocal tones and includes customized delay, doubler, and reverb sections for further vocal enhancement.
