I replaced a lighter-duty ball head on my star tracker with this one. I like the feel of the adjustment knobs, and having different sizes of the knobs makes it easy to know which one I am using when in darkness. If feels very sold and holds my full frame camera and lens well.

Great ball head...sturdy, compact and grips well! I put this ball head on Falcam TreeRoot tripod legs and a Kirk Mini Tripod Leveling Base and I am good to go. This ball head is rock solid with no sagging. I would definitely buy this ball head again.

Yes, Leofoto LH-36 Low Profile Ball Head small knob above the Panning knob controls speed tension on the ballhead. The large knoc locked in/out the ballhead.
