LG 32UN650-W Reviews

The Monitor for Me!

By FMyers3
Rated 5 out of 5

I bought this monitor in the beginning of 2022 to enhance my work from home setup. Realizing that I will spend so much time using my computer, I really looked forward to making that experience as enjoyable as possible. Previously, I was using a 1080 ultra wide monitor and it just wasn't working for me. I was having to constantly make larger head movements to see text on the outside edges of that monitor. I went with this 4K monitor and I found that it serves my purposes better because I get more height in my application windows and with the 4K resolution, I can still have multiple application windows open and visible at the same time. I bought this monitor over the model with the Ergo stand included because I already had a slim monitor arm that works well for my desk area, and I didn't need all the additional features of the Ergo model. This is a great monitor for me and I recommend it! If you don't already have a monitor arm or need USB-C connectivity, then the Ergo model is the way to go.

LG RETURNED THE DEFECTIVE MONITOR TO ME A MONTH AGO IN THE SAME CONDITION AS WHEN I RETURNED IT -- NOT REPAIRED! LG REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY AND AGAIN INSISTED ON REPAIRING IT. SO, I AM AGAIN WAITING ON LG TO RETURN THE MONITOR TO ME.

I've used a BenQ PD3200U 32 4K IPS Display Designer Monitor for years. This LG monitor is a great upgrade in terms of display quality and physical form factor. Decided I needed to buy a second right away.

Assembly was simple...check No dead pixels..............check Fantastic image.............check What is not to like? One thing, always has to be one thing, right? My LG 27 4K has a power cord, standard 2m (6'6) length. This LG 32 4K uses a DC adapter that is 4 feet long. Why? I can't imagine any reason for this. Hilariously, the user manual has a sketch warning you to insure all cables have ample slack when plugging them into the monitor and place them in the cable management, and they give you a 4 foot cable. Good joke LG...good joke.

Done a lot of research prior to getting this. Really good reviews so thought I’d try it. Very happy I bought this model. Everything works fine and a really decent picture. Using it with a KVM 60hrtz 4K switch. Running Windows 12 on one machine and MAC Mini M1 on the other. Would recommend it.
