Immerse Yourself in Music
Stream music, radio, podcasts, and more from your favorite services via the Sonos app or Apple AirPlay 2 when the TV is off.
11-Driver Design
11 drivers, including elliptical drivers and angled side tweeters, help produce vivid detail and augmented bass.
Designed to Blend In
With its elongated shape and seamless facade, the Arc can discreetly mount to the wall with optional hardware or sit beneath the TV without drawing focus away from your content.
Automatic EQ Adjustment
A magnetic sensor detects when the Arc is mounted and adjusts the EQ to temper bass resonance.

Wirelessly connect a Sub and a pair of One SL speakers as rears for an even more immersive listening experience, or connect to other Sonos speakers around your home for multiroom listening.
HDMI eARC
The bandwidth of HDMI eARC supports multichannel audio and has lip-sync compensation built-in.
Ambient Light Sensor
The Arc detects how bright the room is and automatically adjusts the brightness of the LEDs to keep them visible but not distracting.
Designed for Simplified Setup
Bring your phone up to the Arc to automatically pair and securely transfer Wi-Fi credentials using NFC (near-field communication).
Capacitive Touch Controls
Play, pause, skip tracks, adjust the volume, and group rooms by tapping or swiping the top of the soundbar.
Automatic Remote Sync
The Arc connects to your TV's HDMI eARC port with a single cord to automatically sync with your remote.

Sonos Arc Reviews

I finally upgraded my older Playbar to the Arc

I loved my Playbar until I heard the Arc at my local Sonos dealer. The Arc is now paired with the Sub Gen3 and the fidelity experience has been enhanced substantially. Now I am looking forward to hearing what the addition of a pair of Era 300's for home theater will add to my entertainment collection.

Finally I can hear the voices

After going through Samsung, Klipsch, home theater and many other options this is the only one that has worked out completely. I am an audio guy and I am impressed with the amount of fullness and richness of the lower frequencies... I use NO subwoofer and and the bass is set to -5 and treble to +2. Wish there was a virtual dialog slider is all. Would be nice to be able to virtually turn up the center volume... not an EQ; those don't work!

Great Sound

I've owned sound systems from Bose and Vizio. None have sounded as good as this Sonos unit. The true test will be the reliability of the system. We've only owned it for a couple of weeks, but I am hoping this will prove more reliable than the other brands.

Arc with surround kicks it

I first setup my Arc with no surrounds. The sound was very good but was missing something. I decided to try and connect my 2 Sonos One speakers as surround speakers. I know this is an expensive setup and potentially a waste to have the One's setup for just surround but the sound was amazing. Experiencing a movie is like having high quality headphones on. The experience is totally different with the surrounds. Also my wife has a bunch of vases and decorations in front of the Arc. It severely impacts sound quality and i need to move them if i want high quality sound.

The sound is amazing. Blows my old System away!

I added this to my 7 speaker Sonos system and it is just amazing. Great options when watching TV but having on the other side of the living room in conjunction with my #5, it fills the room incredibly well.

Unbelievable sound!

I already owned the Beam, which I ended up putting in a bedroom and then purchased the Arc for my media room... I love it. It's crisp, fills the room with amazing sound ( it's used in conjunction with the sub mini). I couldn't be happier

Asked by: Vincent
You would need at least an Arc HDMI connection. The Q90R would have eArc if it is updated to the latest version.

How can I utilize full capabilities of the Sonos Arch without an eARC HDMI port on my "one connect" for Samsung UN65KS8500 TV? I purchased an Arcana adapter to bridge the gap and I can't get any support from them except via email that takes more than a day and it's one questions at a time.
Asked by: JAMES
The Sonos Arc Soundbar connects to your television via HDMI. It would also connect to your wi-fi network, so that any audio that comes through the Sonos Arc can be shared wireless with your other Sonos components. In the same way; streamed audio that you play from your other Sonos sources like One Connect (or another Sonos speaker model) can be shared wireless with your Sonos Arc soundbar, without it having to be connected to an HDMI source. All of this would be controlled through the Sonos app.

How does Sonos Arc power compare to the 1000 Watts of the Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra?
Asked by: harvey
Both are very good soundbars. If you're already into the Sonos ecosystem or want the simplicity of installation i would go with the Sonos. If space isn't an issue and are focused purely focused on movies, the Nakamicihi may be a good choice for you.

Do you know what firmware version that would be? I am currently on version 1356. Thank you.
Asked by: Vincent
Vincent, I have the 2019 Q70R which has Arc and the same software 1356, however my understanding is it will only have Atmos of streams that can offer them, like Netflix, Amazon Prime video. The Q70R/Q90R by itself can not process the atmos only as a pass through.

I have a 2020 LG OLED 65" CX TV. Is there a rack or spacer that permits placing the LG TV on its stand over the SONOS ARC?
Asked by: David
Thank you. I thought so. II plan to purchase a piece of plywood that's ~36" wide, 11" deep and and high as necessary to raise the 65" LG TV on its stand so that the bottom of the TV is higher than the top of the Sonos Arc, I'll sand, finish, and likely paint matte black. I was pong for some type of long metal U (on it's side) into whiich the sond bar would fit.

My LG 75sk8070PUA is a couple of years old but according to the specs it has ARC support via HDMI 2 and "Dolby Atmos." Does it sound like this TV will work with... and take advantage of... the Sonos Arc features? Thanks!
Asked by: Richard
Unfortunately the 75SK8070 doesn't have e-arc which is required for sending Atmos out over HDMI. However It can support Atmos over HDMI depending on your source and that largely depends on how the source encode the Atmos signals.
