Light intensity is adjustable too from 0 to 100%.
More DetailsPower offers yet more options. You can use the 60x worldwide thanks to its 110 to 240V adapter but it will also run on one or two NP-F-type batteries or a V-mount battery in situations where AC current is unavailable. The LS 60x is also IP54 weatherproof (dust and water resistant), so it is built to withstand any shooting environment. I want to get two small lights and use them to ...
I want to get two small lights and use them to light my 9 by 7 foot green screen (not me and the screen, only the screen), and other things like taking pictures of coins, jewelry, etc. Would two of these work? Would two of 60x work? Buyiing light panel that is 30 or more inches long is too clumsy to move around a lot. So a smaller light would be ideal.
It would depend on how even you want them, but they would need a pretty fair amount of distance to get enough spread for a 9x7 background.

I noticed that the AC adapter mounts to the stand with a short cord to the light. Do they make a longer extension cord for the light so that I could place the AC adapter on the ground and connect with an extension cable of 12'-15' in length?
At this time, there are no extensions from the ballast to the head. The only way of extending the power supply is with an AC extension cable.

Would these be functional in a studio setting? Like if you mount them on a grid in a semi-permeant state and use them for fill/accent lights where they are just controlled by the app?
This light would not be ideal for use in a grid.
