Are the roof prisms in the Minox 8-44 X-HD phase-coated?
The first answer to this question is a nicely copied and pasted description from another publication. However, saying a dielectric coating is a non-metallic coating is by definition. The key is, to be a phase-coating, the dielectric coating(s) need to be of a certain refractive index and thickness (and number of layers). That was the question. It says right in the description from B&H that it has dielectric prism coatings, so Al and Ag coatings don't even relate.
