Sony WI1000XM2 Overview

From Manufacturer

Comfortably and conveniently isolate yourself with your favorite audio with these WI-1000XM2 Noise-Canceling Wireless In-Ear Headphones from Sony. Dual microphones are aimed behind and in front of you to capture as much ambient sound as possible. The built-in QN1 chip actively filters out this distracting noise and provides 32-bit signal processing and a built-in DAC so you're only left with clear audio. Angled eartips and a fully adjustable silicone neckband make listening longer more enjoyable, and the neckband design always keeps your earbuds handy.

The quality of the audio the WI-1000XM2 Bluetooth headphones produce is engineered to be exceptional. An HD hybrid driver system utilizes 8.9mm dynamic drivers and a matched balanced armature to reproduce everything from natural highs to powerful bass. The headphones support Hi-Res Audio to play-back music that's true to the original recording, and DSEE HX technology upscales any of your compressed library files to help make them sound their best.

Long Battery Life
You get up to 10 hours of battery life on a full charge, but if you're in a rush, a quick 10-minute charge will give you up to 80 minutes of playback time.
Atmospheric Pressure Optimizing
You can wear the WI-1000XM2 almost anywhere—even on airplanes—thanks to Sony's Atmospheric Pressure Optimizing technology, which makes the headphones compatible with high altitudes.
Adaptive Sound Control
With the Sony Headphones Connect app, you can use Sony's Adaptive Sound Control and Sense Engine to automatically adjust ambient sound settings based on your situation. You can also customize the settings manually. Adaptive Sound Control can detect whether you're traveling, walking, or waiting. While traveling, background noise is eliminated. While walking, enjoy your music but still hear some sounds around you so you're safe and aware. While waiting, background noise is minimized but you'll still be able to hear important announcements.
Sony Headphone Connect
This app lets you adjust the volume of background sounds and also provides an equalizer to adjust audio levels for your music.
Digital Assistants & Hands-Free Calls
With Amazon Alexa built-in and support for Google Assistant, the WI-1000XM2 headphones give you the ability to speak voice commands to them on your mobile devices. Get information, turn-by-turn navigation, notifications, manage audio playback, and more. The built-in microphone that allows this also provides the ability for you to make hands-free calls when paired with your smartphone.
In-Line Controls
Manual controls are built into one of the cables connecting an earbud to the neckband. These controls let you adjust audio volume and switch between music and phone calls. There's an additional customizable button you can program if there's a favorite feature you can't live without.
Magnetic Earbuds
The backs of each earbuds are magnetic and snap together to keep them untangled when not in use.
NFC Pairing
You can manually pair these headphones with a Bluetooth-compatible device for wireless listening, or you can use NFC pairing if supported. With NFC pairing all you have to do is tap your device to the headphones to quickly pair them.
