From Manufacturer
Vienna Symphonic Library Big Bang Orchestra: Ganymede is a virtual instrument with a library consisting of choirs, each with classic individual sections of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass, as well as several tutti patches. It is ideal for adding human vibrancy, soul, and emotion to film and game scores, trailer music, and sound design.
Big Bang Orchestra: Ganymede offers several variations of tutti mappings, which are helpful for creating quick arrangements that sound great without the need for detailed orchestrating.
The software is compatible with Mac and Windows and operates in AU, VST, and AAX formats.
Note:
Software requires a ViennaKey USB protection device or other USB eLicenser, if one is not already on the system (available separately).
Wide Variety of Tutti Patches
- Tutti Choir combines all sections layered on top of each other into one powerful patch.
- Male/Female places the male ensembles in the lower octaves and the female ensembles in the higher octaves of the keyboard.
- Choir Stacked blends the sections from the lowest to the highest register, keeping the natural ranges intact.
- Tutti Effects includes major and minor chords, clusters, cluster glissandos, cluster builds, and shouts. The clusters correspond to the Clusters A and B in Big Bang Orchestra: Black Eye, performed by strings, brass and woodwinds, making it easy to create cohesive and stunning performances by the orchestra, elevated by a massive choir.
- Articulations include staccato, sustain, espressivo, real legato, sforzato, and several swells.
Modify Your Overall Choir Sound
- The close-mic positions of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass sections can be independently adjusted in the integrated mixer of the Synchron Player, giving you more freedom to modify your overall orchestra sound.
- Six levels of reverberation and additional processed presets are offered for each microphone setup: Close, Classic, Wide, Distant, Ambient, and Wet.
- Change the level, panning, delay, and channel EQ settings for each channel. You can also insert any of the built-in FX plug-ins to further optimize your sound.
Mixer Presets
Factory mixer presets are based on the room microphones, leaving the section microphones disabled. Section microphones can be added to emphasize certain instrument groups.
- Room Mix Presets: Based on a room mix created from all available room microphones.
- Stereo Decca Tree Presets: The Decca Tree is the microphone tree that is the heart and soul of every orchestral recording. It consists of a main stereo channel and a mono center channel, which capture the details of the room from the conductor’s perspective.
- Surround-to-Stereo Presets: Offer the massive sound of all available room microphones, including the Decca Tree mics down-mixed to a stereo signal.
- Surround Presets: With your Synchron Player inserted as a surround plug-in in your DAW, these presets provide the starting point for your surround setup.
- Processed Presets: Use the integrated compressor to achieve an even more powerful sound.
