The Porta Brace Photography Hard Shipping Case, at 5.6 lb, is a fairly lightweight yet super-strong case for shipping expensive lenses, cameras, and other gear. It's made of TTX01 high-strength plastic resin and has a pressure relief valve that keeps it airtight and watertight. The case is designed with a double-hinged locking system and has a molded-in hasp that supports TSA-approved locks—and a TSA-approved lock is included.
The Nest interior features a soft but durable material filled with a variable foam/bead mix that's flexible and ensures protection. The Nest system also eliminates foam "dust" associated with perforated foam interiors.
The case comes with a divider kit made with crush-resistant corrugated plastics with hook-and-loop fasteners. The interior space of the case can be used completely empty with the cubed foam or with the dividers. A rigid grip handle is built-in on top.
