The 6061-T6 aluminum foot has a black anodized finish including Sure Grip powder coating, which makes it resistant against scratches and corrosion. In addition, safety stops located on the bottom of the foot prevent the lens from accidentally being pulled when the clamp is partially open.

Because I cannot purchase Kirk gear in Aus, especially from where I live in remote, Central Queensland, I decided to try B&H. Much to my pleasure, the whole deal was excellent. B&H dispatched the goods immediately and they arrived in Aus within 4 days. The fact they took 2 weeks from Sydney to my place, is but a small price to pay for living where I live. Thanks B&H for such efficient service. The lens foot is everything I hoped for. I will be back to B&H without hesitation, when the need arises. In fact, I told my wife to put B&H on our travel bucket list.
