TTArtisan 11mm f/2.8 Overview

Offering a unique wide-angle view, the TTArtisan 11mm f/2.8 is a fisheye lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras. The expansive field of view and distinct fisheye look are characterized by immense depth of field along with strong distortion for creating very striking and dynamic imagery. The wide-angle design is also complemented by a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, to suit working in available lighting conditions, and the lens's manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 6.7" away.

Ultra-wide prime is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, but is also compatible with APS-C models where it provides a 16.5mm equivalent focal length.
Fisheye design renders an immensely wide angle of view to produce distinct visual appeal characterized by dramatic distortion and a creative depiction of space.
Manual focus design permits smooth, refined control along with a minimum focusing distance of 6.7".
Built-in petal-shaped lens hood that helps to block stray light from causing lens flare and also offers some physical protection to the front of the lens.

Recently purchased 2 weeks ago, got it last week. This last Sun. took it out for a little fun. Attached it to Nikon D700 works great have to get used to the focusing a little due to it being a manual focus lens(Quite a few of my lenses are manual focus). Will be working with it for awhile. I can also use it with my 2 D300's (apsc cameras) as well. I love buying from B&H have been a customer for years. Great customer service, fast shipping times, Awesome!

It appears like a good quality lens, I took it with me on a trip to Puerto Rico thinking I would use it occasionally but I used it most of the time. Depending on how you move your camera you'll get a fish eye look.

It is technically possible to fit a clamp on Matte box onto the TTartisan 11mm f/2.8 Lens for Leica L, however, any such matte box, will most likely be visible in the shot, with such a wide lens. It would not be recommended.

Yes, Assuming you have aps-c size sensor your image will have a crop factor of approx. 1.5x about 17mm lens, less fish eye effect.

Yes, you may use the TTArtisan 11mm f/2.8 Lens for Leica L on the Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H Mirrorless Digital Camera. As long as you are holding the camera and/or lens properly, your hand should not be seen in the image frame.

You should get about a 16mm field of view. So it's still pretty wide.

Yes the TTArtisan 11mm f/2.8 Lens for Sony E can be used for astrophotography. If you look at the reviews you can see a few sample photos our customers have provided and there are a few astrophotos among the examples.

The TTArtisan 11mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon F does not have a front thread to connect filters. Unfortunately, there are no dedicated filter holders for this lens. The only choice will be using a universal filter holder and adapters.
