The 40 x 40" White Artificial Silk Scrim from Matthews softens and diffuses direct light while bouncing some of it to elevate the ambient light level. The silk has a solid frame made of stainless steel tubing, absorbs approximately 1.6 stops of light, and has gold webbing around its edges to make it easily identifiable.

Are there any other scrims at this size (40x40) that have a different stop rating?
Matthews does make a 48 x 48 china silk 1 stop light loss also a 1/4 stop silk only 48x48 size.
