Welp, I tried to sell my used LUMIX LX10 to one of the big used/trade camera sites, thinking it would be worth several hundreds of dollars ... and it was judged to be worth $2. Dust in the lens barrel, therefore dust on the sensor -- a typical (and expensive to clean) problem for this model. So as long as I was stuck with the functional-but-dusty little camera, I might as well have the batteries to still run it. The original LUMIX battery which came with the camera had swollen, so it was cooked, and I had one more OEM cell. So this Jupio battery was recommended by B&H Q&A as the one workable replacement -- and it does indeed charge through the camera, and on a charger, and run the LX10 just fine. For half the price of an OEM branded replacement. So yay.
