Available for download, the Arturia Comp FET-76 is a software compressor designed for pro audio mixing. It emulates a classic FET 76 compressor, giving you both the tone and behavior of the famed hardware units. The compressor is traditionally used on everything from drums to vocals and is historically favored for its vintage tone and versatile dynamic restriction. Process anything; from fast and aggressive compression to smooth and creamy control is available to you with this compressor.
This software boasts some updates to the original hardware that are designed to make mixing easier. For instance, an Input-Output Link lets you push the input without incurring level changes. An Advanced Sidechain Control enables extensive sidechaining, letting you filter the sidechain input with EQ and M/S filters, so you can control what triggers the compressor. Arturia has also provided a Time Warp knob, which changes the behavior of the attack and release shapes, affording you extensive control over the compression envelope.
This plug-in is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will work in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats.
