The Auro Technologies Auro-3D Authoring Tools V2 Basic provides a comprehensive solution for creating native 3D audio content. The software provides multiple plug-ins. Each plug-in included in the tool set is designed to be easily integrated into any existing content creation workflow, all while solving many technical limitations present in DAW stations. These tools allow you to work creatively within the uncompressed audio domain on a channel-by-channel basis when panning and mixing.
The Auro-Panner enables 3D panning, replacing the DAW's pan controls when working in Auro-3D with the panned information sent to the Auro-Bus plug-in. The Auro-Bus collects this information from a number of Auro-Panners to form a subgroup or stem. All connected Auro-Panners can be summed, leveled, and their down-fold settings can be adjusted in case a planar target configuration is required. The Auro-Mixing Engine sets the target Auro-3D configuration and controls how all the connected buses are mixed.
