The YN308 Daylight LED Ring Light from Yongnuo has a 20.7" diameter and a distinctive shape. With an output of 5500K and a special grip for handholding, it delivers a soft, slightly directional look. You can also shoot through it for a silky smooth, near-shadowless effect that is flattering to your talent's complexion. A bonus is the unique circular shape of the light that is reflected in the eyes of your subject.
The included remote control allows for quick lighting adjustments from a distance. The YN308 can be powered using a separately available AC adapter or with two optional Sony NP-F750 series batteries. Please note that a single battery only powers half of the LEDs, and that full functionality requires either an AC adapter or two NP-F batteries. The light's handle is removable and a storage pouch is included.
