Small and lightweight, this Photographic Crystal Ball from ANDYCINE is a prism that splits a beam of light into its spectral components or colors of the rainbow to create eye-catching effects. There are a couple of ways to use the crystal. Since it has 1/4"-20 female threads, you can attach it to a small tripod or stand and shine light through it to splash color around the room. Another method is mounting it onto an accessory such as a Magic Arm to hold it in front of your lens to digitally capture the colorful effects and image breakup. Each crystal's shape determines its output. This Crystal Ball has numerous faceted angles.

Great photography accessory
This crystal ball works as intended. I like to do a lot of abstract photography with lights and it turned out well. I also use this ball with landscapes, portraits, etc.The kaleidoscope effect is very cool and works exactly how I imagined it to. The lens has to be very close up to the crystal ball to capture the awesome kaleidoscope effect. It’s definitely worth the price and it’s a nice accessory to have to add a little creativity to your photos!
Great way to add authentic lens flair
This is a great way to add some authentic in camera lens flair to your project... Sometime software/program lens flair can be noticeable and look “fake” if not used properly in the right amounts and at the perfect time. With this Andycine Crystal Ball you can get the actual refractions that actually happens on angled glass and that’s one of it’s coolest point. But it’s has some weight to it because it’s real glass so if your complaining about your set up is heavy now then you’ll definitely need to keep that in mind. The 1/4-20 mount is in secure and won’t affect any shots but I would suggest a articulating arm of 5 inches or more depending on your anchoring point... and this price point is a steal... I’m very satisfied
