How good would this light be to evenly light a ...
How good would this light be to evenly light a white cyc wall with both bright white light and to also wash it with desired color? Is it bright enough to still have a bold color with some spill from key and fill lights? Would you use it with or without the softbox in this case?
The Aputure nova 300c will cover 9' x 9' wall at a distance of 5' from the wall I would not use the softbox to light a cyc.

I contacted Aputure concerning your inquiry. According to the manufacturer, they state that they do not recommend putting the softbox pouch inside the case for storage. However, there is an elastic loop on the back of the Softbox Storage Bag that can loop over the tended handle of the Nova P300c Case when in transit, much like a suitcase and companion briefcase.

The specs list the dimensions as 12"x15" which surely must be the size where it mounts. The more interesting spec is how large it is at the front where the light exits. Can you please list that? The bigger the front, the softer the source.
