Can this be safely used with the Sony FX6?
Can this be safely used with the Sony FX6?
Yes. The FS7 & FS5 both used 12v DC input and they both used the same sized barrel connector and the same battery charger could power the camera (DC barrel had a yellow ring).
Sony has done the same with the FX9 & FX6 - the barrel is a different size from the above (FS7/5), and they both accept 19.5V and the barrel is intentionally sized larger to avoid mistakes (barrel is now a black ring).
