Mount devices such as projectors from your ceiling using this Gabor 8 x 8" Mounting Plate, which features 1.5" NPT threading that enables you to attach 1.5" NPT threaded extension columns or mounts (not included) to your ceiling. This powder coated solid steel plate features four holes for mounting it to your ceiling, and it can support loads up to 500 lb. when anchored in a suitable ceiling structure. The powder coating protects the plate from corrosion, and an included security screw helps protect the plate and attached extension columns or mounts.
1.5" NPT Ceiling Mount
The CP-8 8" Mounting Plate makes it easy to install a 1.5" NPT threaded extension column or mount (available separately) to your wood-studded, concrete, or suspended ceiling. Attach compatible Gabor products (not included) such as the EC series extension columns to increase the hanging depth of your display or projector away from the ceiling. Use this plate in combination with an optional Gabor projector mount for unobstructed viewing in your space.
Robust Steel Plate
Made from hot-rolled solid steel, the CP-8 can support up to 500 pounds depending on the ceiling support structure. This allows you to hang multiple displays or projectors from a single and secure mounting point.
Security
An included security screw helps minimize tampering of installed extension columns and mounts. After it is installed, you can safely leave your column or mount attached with confidence that it is secure.
