Simply swing one or more of the barndoor leaves into the light's beam path to light areas you want to keep illuminated while keeping light from areas you don't.

Just like the title says the barn doors nor the light itself came with mounting screws.......
The LED 500 lights are a good solution for small productions on the go (packing for air travel for instance). The barn doors, which are a solid design on their own, have a major flaw, in that the light will not tilt when they are installed. Can still be useful for barn door function, but only when pointed straight ahead.
