GVM JJ-G265 Reviews
Great lamp, mediocre tripod
The lamp is great, however, I found the tripod to not be as good. When you mount the light to the tripod be careful it's wobbly and when you do tighten the knob you might not be able to get it straight. That's what I experienced. I did reach out to customer service and they were helpful. I sent them an email and I messaged them via Instagram. They did send me another tripod when I asked them for a new one. I really like how easy one can adjust the settings of the ring light. But again you probably want to think twice about having your precious camera mounted on the light.
Great Lightweight Mini Tripod that can Hold my Kit
I have received 5 different mini tripods to review over the past few years and this one is my favorite. Pros: - Small and lightweight with the carbon fiber legs - Decent load capacity capable of handling my DSLR and heavier lenses - The adjustable legs can provide a very stable and wide base on uneven surfaces - You can get a bit of height out of it, even though it's small - The Arca compatibility works with my Peak Design Capture Clip plate - It's quick to setup as long as you leave the center post on or off - Rubber feet and metal pointed feet when needed Cons: - You need to make sure to really tighten the plate in order to secure the camera or it may loosen (I just use my Peak Design Capture Clip plate with it) - It takes a little longer to set up if you attach and remove the center post each time / carry it in the case each time (I don't do this)
