Philips SHP9500 Overview

Great quality, better than my old Sennheisers

To keep it short, simple and to the point; these headphones are great. The material wrapped around the headphone's ear muffs are of undoubtedly high-quality, it feels great around the ears, the highs and lows of this are phenomenal. Overall a great headset, personally I use it for gaming and listening to music and it works great for that purpose, for this price is really just can't be beat with the quality that you're getting.

With such great reviews on these headphones, it was an easy purchase but to my great disappointment, they didn't even last a year. The sound went out.

I'm a video editor and needed some monitor headphones to use when I can't have loud audio booming through the house. These had great reviews and a great price. So far they've been great! High quality, good sound, comfortable. They're obviously not super high-end audiophile headphones, but if you're like me and just needed good headphones for editing, give these a shot.

I believe these will be excellent for gaming and fps but had to take a break until i get replacement ear pads that are deeper because my ears are getting to close to the inside driver

Like a lot of folks I have owned many headphones over the years. Few last long. They usually break down at the plug (most of my Sony headphones), or the cap which often breaks (Bose). My first pair of these broke on the cap, or the wire within broke, giving me sound only on the right... but it seemed to last longer than any other brand I've had. This is a comfortable pair, I often like to wear it falling to sleep. So these headphones are a compromise. I like the comfort. I like sound quality. I like the side plug. It is sturdy. It does seem a bit too expensive. My first pair cost substantially less than my second pair. Delivery and service from B&H was excellent as usual.

No but you can buy a 3.5mm BoomPro from V-MODA and it will turn these into the best quality headset you can buy. The mic quality on gaming headsets are trash as well as the sound quality. Pair these two together and you won't regret it.
