Gigabyte B550 I AORUS PRO AX Reviews
2025 | Affordable ITX Mobo
A couple of months in: This ITX motherboard initially stood out to me for its affordability compared to similar ITX boards. The key piece being that I wanted to downsize my ATX PC build to an ITX build, so it was great considering it's compatibility with my existing CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage. Key Features: -- Compact Size: The ITX form factor had no issues with my ITX build in mind (NR200 case + 3080 GPU). -- Compatibility: Worked seamlessly with older components, so the cost of buying an NR200Max, for instance, was actually more expensive than buying this ITX mobo, a new PSU, a new case, and a new cooler. -- Affordability: Offered great value for money compared to other motherboards in the market that I had seen. -- Performance: While it may not rival my previous X570 ATX board, this motherboard has so far delivered great performance for casual gaming, daily productivity, etc. TLDR Pros: ----Compact and space-saving ----Affordable price for an ITX motherboard ----Reliable performance for casual gaming TLDR Cons: ---- None that I've found so far! Verdict: For anyone looking to downsize their PC build without sacrificing performance, the Gigabyte AORUS ITX motherboard is a stellar choice. It offers a balanced blend of affordability, compatibility, and practicality. I highly recommend it to casual gamers and especially for those wanting to keep their AM4-generation components such as CPU, GPU, Storage, and RAM in a smaller form factor.
Great little board!
I was looking to move my setup to a smaller cooler master ncore 100 and this board worked great. Feels really sturdy and has enough storage space for any gamer.
