Great deal. Swappable plates that aren't a ton of money - and they have most every battery plate for this system. My 3rd unit. Still have the other two. As we've grown the number of items that require batteries we just add more of these. Fantastic product.

It does not charge any of my z batteries. I finally opened the package after a month and it doesn't work nor can I return it. this is the second item from the order from the past 2 orders that came with something that doesn't preform right. getting pretty disappointed.

This charger for 2 batteries is easy to use and is very reliable and fast. Live it.

fits two batteries, so hopefully one can charge two at once

This product does fit two 7.2 volt Sony or Watson batteries, but the meters on the two charging systems don't read the same. Further, the charger gets quite hot during charging. I have not attempted to charge more than one battery at a time partly for this reason.

Finicky but okay

I like the idea of being able to switch adapter plates and charge different kinds of batteries. However, both inserting and removing battery plates is finicky but not a deal-breaker. The adapter plates are very affordable. I also have mixed feelings about the battery charge level. It's a nice feature, but the percentages are substantially different than what my camera reads. It still gives you a feel for how much longer it will take to reach 100%. Lastly, the NP-FZ100s fit great, but the NP-FW50 adapter plate is fiddly. It's tricky to line the battery up. If I had it to do over again, I might have tried the Hedbox charger. The adapter plates have finger holds that might make it easier to get them in and out. However, I like the Watson compact charger better than the Hedbox travel charger because the wall plug folds into it. When all is said and done, I still might have bought into the Watson system rather than the Hedbox system. In summary, meh. The Watson Duo is a big step-up from the cheap chargers that I've been using. It's not great, but it's good.

Very handy

I purchased this so that I could always have both of my batteries on the charger while the other one was in my camera for shooting. It's about 30% bigger than the Sony charger, so I don't notice much of a difference while packing in my case. Having the USB port on the side of the charger is surprisingly helpful as well. It supplies a decent amount of power output for most things! My favorite thing about this charger is that you can plug a battery into the charger without being connected to power to see your battery's voltage.

Great convenience

I bought this to charge batteries for my Sony a7c while overseas. I used both an original Sony battery and a Watson battery. It charged both conveniently, and it's great that it shows the status of your battery even when it's not plugged in.

Works just as it should. Was in need of a charger that could charge two batteries at a time to help improve my workflow when shooting all day and this was exactly what I needed. It comes with a wall plug as well as a car plug which could come in extremely handy. Display is solid but can be a little difficult to read at certain angles and lighting. Very happy with the purchase and would certainly recommend.

Does this charger work with the Sony NP-F970 battery adapter?
Asked by: William
The Watson Duo charger uses user-replaceable battery adapter plates from Watson. In order to charge Sony NP-F style batteries (NP-F550, 570, 750, 970, etc.), you'll need at least one of these: https://bhpho.to/3DOneR8
