The black iFi Micro iPhono3 Black Label is a low-profile home phono amplifier featuring audiophile components and built to exacting standards to provide outstanding sound quality for dedicated vinyl enthusiasts. The amplifier uses iFi's Class-A TubeState technology, which emulates many of the best characteristics of analog tube audio using compact, less expensive, and cooler-running solid-state circuitry.
The Micro iPhono3 Black Label delivers performance rivaling amplifiers costing much more, delivering 35 to 72 dB of gain, with a 108 dB dynamic range and a signal-to-noise ratio of 85 dB. Two pairs of RCA inputs are provided, one for use with MM cartridges and the other for use with MC cartridges; a ground connection for the turntable is also provided. A 3-position switch and numerous dip switches on the underside of the unit allow you to customize settings and select between 6 EQ curves: RIAA, eRIAA, IEC, and eRIAA + IEC/Decca/Columbia. A stereo pair of RCA outputs is provided.
