Polsen DJH-2500 Overview

Perfect for DJs, the DJH-2500 Headphones from Polsen deliver a rich sound whether you're behind the turntables, in the club, or on your mobile device. These headphones feature earcups that swivel 90° and rotate 180°, so you can monitor audio while keeping one ear free.

Thanks to the included, detachable 10' cable, you'll be able to move around the DJ booth with ease, enjoying the full and rich sound of the 50mm neodymium drivers. The cable terminates in a 3.5mm stereo plug that's compatible with most media players and computers. To cover all your options, a stereo 1/4" adapter is included for plugging into stereo receivers, mixing boards, and interfaces.

For a real advantage to DJs, the DJH-2500 headphones offer two inputs. Add Polsen's separately available RC-2500 cable, and you can monitor two sources simultaneously. This feature is excellent for cueing tracks, transitions, and crossfades. Thanks to their over-ear design, these headphones offer noise isolation and leakage suppression. You'll experience optimum listening conditions, both in the booth and on the road.

Great for DJs
Features that are great for DJ applications include pivoting earcups that are ideal for one-ear or on-the-shoulder listening. The padded headband and earcups will take the discomfort out of DJing and keep you comfortable throughout a lengthy club date or monitoring session.
Tuned Bass Response
Across its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, these headphones offer a tuned bass response that ensures the low end won't be lost in loud settings. You can easily feel and identify the beat, and the low-end clarity will help you hear the music exactly as the crowd hears it.
Multiple Inputs
Cueing up your next track is made much easier thanks to 1/4" and 1/8" inputs. Simultaneously monitor audio from a turntable, mixer, computer, or smartphone for seamless transitions and crossfades.
Over-Ear Design
The over-ear design isolates sound in loud environments and prevents leakage for optimum listening conditions. This design is good for listening to music on a busy street, and for DJs who need to monitor their audio in a noisy club.
Swiveling and Rotating Earcups
If you're a DJ who likes to keep one ear free, you can swivel one of the earcups 90 degrees for on-the-shoulder listening, or rotate them 180 degrees so you can turn one of them outward for one-ear handheld monitoring.
Great for Mobile Use
The DJH-2500 headphones deliver rich sound when you're listening to audio on a mobile device. Whether you're listening on a smartphone, iPod, or tablet, you'll hear detailed sound, even if you're in a noisy environment.
10' Detachable Cable
The 10' cable lets you move from behind your computer or tablet, so you can conduct an interview, or move freely around a DJ booth. The locking 1/8" plug ensures your audio won't be lost due to an accidental tug on the cable. And when it's time to pack up, the cable is removable for convenient travel.

good job

Sound quality is subpar

I am not an audiophile. Just a dude who watches too many online streams and plays a few games. Comparing this to my Sony MDR-XB550AP headphones that were roughly in the same price range, but that I got for free from my Sony credit card, and my 7 year old, more expensive Plantronics Backbeat Pro, I find the sound quality to just be subpar. I would describe it as the mids and highs being muddy. The general impression I get is as if I am listening to something that was recorded at a much lower bit rate than it was. Apart from the sound, the construction feels quite cheap. The ear foam is stiffer than either of the two aforementioned headphones, and they have a hollow plastic feel. The two inputs feature is quite cool, though I have no use for it. I do like the detachable wire as well. However, the coiled wire that comes with it can be annoying because its unstretched length is so short that just sitting an arm's length from the audio port results in the wire already pulling on the headset as it stretches. I got them for the Deal of the Day price, but even so, I don't feel like they are worth the price. I would definitely not pay the full asking price for them. I'll be returning them.
