edelkrone SliderPLUS v5 PRO Compact
Key Features
  • Dual-Length Slider with Movable Rails
  • 1.6' with 25 lb Payload Tripod Mounted
  • 0.8' with 50 lb Payload Surface Mounted
  • Supports Motion Control Slide Module v3
The edelkrone SliderPLUS v5 PRO Compact is designed with movable rails that travel during a slide to give you extra travel distance while keeping the slider compact. When used on the ground or other surface, it has a travel length of 0.8' and supports up to 50 lb. Mounted on a tripod, it provides a travel length of 1.6' with up to 25 lb loads supported, meaning you can work with heavy camera rigs. The movable design also works for dolly shots, because since the rails move along with the carriage, they won't get in the shot when you dolly in and out.

It cannot. You would need to use an edelkrone specific product which is the Slide Module v3 BH #ED81228. https://bhpho.to/3sC4r6N

Will SliderPLUS v5 PRO compact communicate with HeadPLUS v2?
Asked by: DEBBIE
Great question, I would like to clarify that the SliderPLUS v5 on its own is not a motorized unit, you must attach the Slide Module v3 to the SliderPLUS v5 in order to motorize it. The HeadPLUS v2 can then be attached to the SliderPLUS v5 and it can be paired with the Slide Module v3 in the edelkrone app so you can control all units at the same time.
