Ideal for small studios, broadcasting, and video recording, the WebCamArm 2 Camera Arm from Technical Pro is constructed of steel and has an extended length of 20.9" with an articulating joint or "elbow" that's spring-loaded to allow folding and swiveling action. The arm has 1/4"-20 male threads on its adjustable top base for cameras with matching female threads and weighing up to 3 lb. Furthermore, the arm is counterweighted and securely stabilized by its steel 3.3 lb base. A desk / shelf clamp is included as a mounting option.

How does this mount to the base?
I'd like to know if I could mount this to a light stand so details on screw size would be helpful (I have thread adapters)

How easy is this to move into place for a video ...
How easy is this to move into place for a video call and then out of the way? Is it good for that use case, or more of a "position once and leave it" kind of thing?
It takes only a few minutes to put together, if you leave the base mounted, taking the arm off would be easy to store away when not in a video call.
