This Update Kit for Olympus Tough TG-6 addresses a problem with some older models of the Ikelite #6233.06 Underwater Housing for Olympus Tough TG-6 Camera. Slight differences in camera control location may cause the Playback button of the camera to work intermittently when used in housings shipped prior to the release of the TG-6 camera. This kit is recommended for use with housings that have a serial number of UC63332 and below. The original push-button tip is removed and this replacement tip is installed with the flat edge alongside the LCD framer.
Housings between serial number UC3332 and UC3397 shipped with the update pre-installed. Push-button locations have been moved on housings above serial number UC63397 so no special push-button tips are necessary.
