I have only been using it for a week now with a SL60llD. It controls the lights brightness, and will turn it off and on, however when off the unit is powered.
I love the lights and you cn operate them using a phone app, however, I prefer to use the dedicated remote. Simple, clean, no fuss, no muss. I have gone so far as to buy one for each head. I control them independently instead of groups. It makes my studio far more productive as attire and needs change frequently during the day.
